Awakening

The Awakening is the first step on our journey. We come to realize that what we once believed was in fact a delusion, obfuscating truth and limiting our understanding for the benefit of those who control the system. We then must learn how to exist as a master of both worlds, living with one foot in the old mainstream delusion and another in the new parallel society. This is a challenging undertaking as it can be hard to find proper guidance and it is easy to fall into a number of common mistakes. My goal here is to help you understand the Awakening process, to offer some basic advice to best orient yourself, and some guidelines on how to interact with others going forward.

Important to this is understanding that while you might now see with new eyes, there is still much you have to learn and it is important to stay humble and thoughtful as you orient yourself. I strongly advocate seeing your awakening as not a call to destroy the system that deluded you, but to establish your own goals and values and focus on creating good works that will bring about the reality you want for yourself and others. This will require you to orient yourself and focus first on self improvement before you can help others. And ideally, you become someone who is a master of both worlds, preserving the relationship you have now and finding ways to forge new ones.

Awakening

Before I provide you with some advice on how to move forward once newly awakened, it is helpful to explain the conditions that allowed you to awaken. This way, you can come to process your own experience and be able to see it (or the lack thereof) in others. Most importantly, you should understand that an awakening comes from two things: focus and self motivation. Because of this, it is pretty much impossible to force someone else to go through an awakening and it is best to avoid trying to awaken others around you, not matter how obvious the epiphany of your awakening may have seemed to you.

The Awakening Process

When we awaken, we can often trace back the beginning of the process to a moment where we became focused on a certain aspect of society. For some it is politics, others medicine, but it could also be education, spirituality, or many other things. The universal element is that we cared about this aspect and started to pay close attention to it.

It is through this increased focus that we start to see inconsistencies. We hear things stated with authority that do not make sense to us and because we care, we start to ask questions. We become motivated to find truth and the fact that things don’t add up with what we are being told begs further and further inspection.

Ultimately, we come to realize that the mainstream institution we had trusted to provide this truth was, through ignorance, stupidity, or even malice, creating a false narrative that was propped up despite its falsehood. This begs an even more daunting question: “if I have lost trust in this mainstream institution and it has been propped up by other adjacent institutions as valid, then I cannot trust any mainstream institution.” We lose faith, not just in one aspect of mainstream society, but all aspects.

This presents us with a new problem. If I can’t trust what I am being told in the mainstream, where do I find a new source of Truth? And the foundation upon which I chose my goals, values, and aspirations has fallen through, how do I orient myself in this new unknown space? These questions I will answer in the next article on Framework Building.

Insights on Awakening

When reflecting on this process, we come to a few realizations. First, because awakening requires detailed focus on an aspect of society and that the person is intrinsically motivated, it is almost impossible for us to incept others into awakening. It is common for newly awakened individuals to try and convince others of what they now understand, but this is often an ill fated endeavor. If you are going to be successful, it is because you will have piqued someone’s interest and sown the seeds for them to care and focus on an aspect of society where they will come to awaken themselves.

Second, awakening requires us to discard almost our entire framework for how our world works and find a new foundation elsewhere. This is an extremely difficult and daunting task. It requires great humility to accept that you have been wrong about the world and great courage to venture out into a now known landscape. This is especially terrifying if you feel isolated in your discovery as you might not have suitable relationships with people you can talk to about your awakening. It is essential to respect how life changing the experience of awakening can be, both so that we can be compassionate for others going through it and that we might be compassionate to ourselves as well.

Third, because we do not know a clear alternative to the mainstream delusion, it is easy to fall into the trap of defining yourself in opposition to the system of delusion. This is not a healthy way to live, much like going through a bad breakup with an abusive ex and then living constantly with hate for that person. To move forward, you must learn to live not in opposition to evil, but pursuit of good. You will come to see awakening as a chance to break free from the mainstream delusion and live a life by your own self determined truth, values, and goals.

Advice For The Newly Awakened

When I was awakened, I sought truth on the fringes of the internet, but what I quickly discovered is that there are many conflicting opinions about what is true, who to trust, and how to live a good life. There was no guide to how to navigate this new landscape and I had to learn, often through trial and error, what worked for me and what did not. My goal with this section is to give you some general advice that will help you avoid common mistakes and find your own health path forward much faster.

You Are a Beginner

The first thing it is important to understand is that you are new to the landscape of the parallel society and that, with all new things, there is much you do not understand. It is easy to feel like you do as an awakening is a type of divine revelation and can make us feel like we are now privileged to sacred knowledge. While this is true in a sense, we still have much to learn including how to communicate it to others, or hide it from those who would not take kindly to our new perspective on the world.

It is essential that you adopt the mindset of a beginner and focus more on listening and learning than of trying to get involved or teach others. This is not to say you won’t get to that point in your journey, but like the experienced professional joining a new company, it is necessary for you to learn the ropes before you make any decisions. It is best to accept this process will happen slowly and to not put pressure on yourself to move quickly.

Trust me when I say that there are many of us on the other side of awakening and we all wish we were more slow and deliberate with how we took our first steps in this new world. There is much we have tried and much we have learned and while it is not for us to tell you how to live your life, we offer the advice that you will find greater success if you take the time to understand the landscape before you take action.

Awakening is About The Freedom to Live Well on Your Terms

As I mentioned before, it is easy to get caught up in a vibration of hate and to define your post awakening life in opposition to that which you once knew. I would instead encourage you to see your awakening as a new slate; an opportunity to find a new foundational truth upon which you can choose your own values and goals.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness, especially forgiveness of something that we perceive as evil, can be hard and some might even argue is wrong. I would clarify that forgiveness is not about condoning the actions or the behaviors of others, but accepting the reality of what they are so you can process that experience and move forward with your life. Simply put, you must move past hating the mainstream delusion so you can focus on your relationships with things that are far healthier.

Become Stronger

We should not seek to make the world safer, but to build greater personal strength so we may deal with the hardship of the world. As we become masters of both worlds, we realize that to live by our values, especially when those values are not held by those in the mainstream delusion, the more independence and self reliance we have, the more agency we have to forge our own path. In this way, the faster you shift from a desire to destroy the external to a desire to build the internal, the less stressful and painful your awakening experience will be.

Seek a Healthy Parallel Life of Creation

Ultimately, you will find that the highest path we can aspire to is a parallel life focused on positive creation. We must first make ourselves stronger so that we can find a parallel movement we believe in and wish to channel our creative energy into. If you wish to learn more about parallel movements, you can read about them here. This is the last step in the journey, world improvement, but it is important to know that is where we are ultimately headed. To have success, we will often benefit from the relationships we hold with people still in the grasps of the mainstream delusion and so it is good to be warned early that your journey will benefit from not burning bridges with those you know now.

Talking to Those Still in the Mainstream Delusion

The final section of information I wish to impart for the newly awakened is concerning how to interact with those who still buy into the mainstream delusion. As I have mentioned a few times already, awakening requires very specific conditions and it is very hard to incept awakening in others. And so we cannot expect to awaken someone in the span of a conversation. However, it is healthy and necessary to maintain these relationships. Often these people are your family, close friends, neighbors, and coworkers. You will not be able to break from them entirely and nor should you and so learning how to interact with them in a healthy way becomes one of the most important things we can learn early on.

Don’t Talk About You, Ask About Them

First and foremost is that those who are awakened are best served not advertising their new perspective. In fact, not only will people often not believe you, but will quickly ostracize you for not accepting the herd morality. As such, it is best to avoid politically charged conversations all together, especially earlier on. If you are pressured into a conversation, it is best to plead ignorance and throw the question back, asking what they think of the subject. People love to talk about themselves and their own ideas and it is usually very easy to shift a conversational focus to others and their own thoughts. As you learn to navigate these conversations with more dexterity, you can even ask questions about their beliefs that will help them better focus and see inconsistencies for themselves.

Be Ignorant, Aloof, and Humorous

When you have these types of conversations with others, claiming ignorance means that people won’t see you as an ideologically enemy, but someone they can convince of their own superior perspective. Being aloof and humorous about the discussions is also helpful as it keeps the conversation light hearted and relaxed. It also helps others see these issues from a point of detached skepticism. I also believe that truth is best found through humor and painting much of our current mainstream delusions with the broad brush of incompetence is both strategically ideal as it is true. Most problems are a result of ignorance and stupidity, not malice, and your listener will always feel compelled to agree that politicians, businessmen, and other authorities are bumbling fools, if for no other reason than it will make them feel superior as well.

Be a Positive Model of Your Beliefs

The most effective way to convince someone of the superiority of your beliefs is to be a clear example of the positive effects. If you are healthy, successful, calm, and confident, people will notice this and wonder what you have figured out that allowed you to become so. If you are a basement dwelling conspiracy theorist, people will not give much credence to your beliefs, but if you are a paragon of virtue and achievement, people will want to know more about you. This is the idea that actions speak louder than words. Embody your higher values and you will not have to convince others to follow you, they will seek it intrinsically.

Conclusion

It is my hope that this breakdown of the awakening and the advice on how to live and how to interact with others gives you a healthy base framework to set you on the path to success. Understanding that your awakening is an opportunity to live a self defined life and to bring others to this path, not through aggressive proselytization, but as a confident symbol of what your beliefs can manifest. There are more steps to come, but it is important we understand the awakening and the basic guidelines to follow if we are to find a good path forward. Next I will talk about how we find a foundation of truth to build our new framework upon. This will better allow us to define what values and goals we set for ourselves and how to orient ourselves in our journey towards a better parallel life.
